The projection of pornographic content in a space dedicated to the fight for digital rights showed how technology continues to be used as a weapon of gender violence.
The response from digital defenders was clear: "We will not back down in our fight to ensure a safe digital environment." The Secretariat for Women and UN Women Mexico also condemned the attack, emphasizing the need for major tech companies to take responsibility for preventing such violence.
